While our ten year anniversary has concluded, we have kept these pages alive as a tribute to everyone who has made this College what it is today. If you have additional information to provide, you may still make a contribution to our timeline. Here's to the next ten years!
Officially founded as a stand-alone college in 2005, the College of Biological Sciences has been making headlines in research and education since the first basic sciences courses were taught on campus in the early 20th century.
Over the decades we have welcomed new majors, pioneered advancements in basic biological research, and bid farewell to several early scientific disciplines. Click on the images below for a decade-by-decade recap of our memorable events and milestones in research, leadership, identity and discovery.
