Microbial Evolution

laboratory microbial evolution, identification of genetic/epigenetic basis of microbial adaptation, evolution and dynamics of associative memory in bacteria, predictive modeling of gene regulatory and biochemical networks, large-scale simulations of microbial evolution

Synthetic Biology

Synthetic gene circuits for biotechnological applications, computational tools for synthetic biology, computer-aided design and optimization of synthetic constructs

Systems Biology

Biological networks, computational models of biological systems, integration and analysis of high-dimensional data.

Applied machine learning and optimization

Data integration and prediction analytics for medical, biological and agricultural data. Development and application of optimization and machine learning algorithms. Data-driven, HPC modeling and simulation of complex systems.
