Faculty Executive Committee

The Faculty Executive Committee (FEC) consists of the chair, vice chair/secretary, one elected member from each section of the College of Biological Sciences, two faculty members elected by majority vote of the faculty of the College, the dean, and associate deans of the College, all of whom serve a two-year term.

The FEC meets at least once a year to discuss issues such as the academic plan of the College, administrative matters and matters suggested by the dean. The FEC is in charge of the approval of degree lists and petitions of students, and it submits nominations to the faculty each year for the members and chairs of all standing committees of the faculty.
