Dr. Kenneth Birnbaum, Professor, New York University, presents "Partners in Repair: New Tools to Infer Combinatorial Control of Repatterning in Plant Regeneration".

I received my Ph.D. in biology working at the American Museum of Natural History and New York University with Rob DeSalle, studying the conservation genetics of avocados in Central America. My postdoc was with Philip Benfey at New York University, developing new methods in cell-type specific transcriptomics. I started my lab at New York University in 2004, focusing on plant regeneration and genomics techniques.
