Join the NPB Student Club for an engaging conversation with Dr. Ravi Khaira, distinguished CBS alumnus, practicing pediatrician, and longtime supporter of UC Davis. Drawing on his own journey from UC Davis undergrad to a successful medical career, Dr. Khaira will share how his college experiences shaped his path, offer practical advice for applying to medical school, and discuss the daily realities and rewards of working as a pediatrician.
About the Speaker:
Dr. Ravi Khaira is a founding doctor and clinical director of Capital Pediatrics, a board-certified pediatrician, and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from UC Davis in 1990 before attending St. George’s University School of Medicine and completing clinical cores at Yale and Cornell Medical Centers. He completed postdoctoral training at Loma Linda University Medical Center and earned a Master’s in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. Most recently, he completed his MBA at the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. Today, he also serves as an associate professor and pediatric clerkship director at California Northstate University College of Medicine.
