Speaker Bio: I am a behavioral ecologist interested in behavior’s role in phenotypic plasticity and evolution, with a goal to understand how and why variation in parental experience influences offspring phenotype. Our research explores the behavioral, physiological, and neural mechanisms governing how parents balance caring for offspring with their own survival, and how these decisions can have lasting consequences for individuals and populations.
