2024 Pre-Health Conference
The UC Davis Pre-Health Conference brought over 2,500 attendees and 200 exhibitors to campus. Aspiring health professionals connected with industry leaders and explored career paths. Hands-on demos, workshops, and expert talks offered valuable insights. The conference empowers attendees to make informed choices and build connections.

BioBoosters Club
BioBoosters brings students together through exciting activities, professional development, and, of course, exclusive CBS swag! All proceeds from swag sales go directly toward supporting club initiatives that connect, inspire, and empower students across the College of Biological Sciences. Led by passionate CBS majors, BioBoosters creates a welcoming space to explore biology, build connections, and grow as a community.

Fall 2024 Graduate Group Open House
We had an amazing time connecting with UC Davis undergrads at our first-ever Graduate Program Open House on Wednesday, October 30. Each of our eight graduate groups was represented, complete with snacks, a raffle, and tons of opportunities to explore what grad school at UC Davis has to offer.

Welcome, Class of 2026 and 2028!
The college's Fall 2024 Orientation for new students was on Friday, September 20. Dean Mark Winey kicked off the day with inspiring remarks, followed by opportunities for students to connect with their peers while picking up t-shirts and other swag. The event also included breakout sessions where students had the chance to meet faculty members, learn more about their academic journey, and start building a sense of community within the college.

2024 ADNR-Honors Students
The UC Davis Advancing Diversity in Neuroscience Research-Honors program supports diverse upper division undergraduate students who plan to pursue advanced degrees and research careers in neuroscience.

2024 MARC Students
The overall goal of the UC Davis Maximizing Access to Research Careers (MARC) program is to increase the number of talented underrepresented, disadvantaged and disabled students who become leaders in areas relevant to biomedical and behavioral research.

2024 ADAR-Honors Students
The UC Davis Advancing Diversity in Aging Research-Honors Program supports diverse upper division undergraduate students who plan to pursue advanced degrees and research careers in aging-related areas.

2024 CURE Students
The Continuing Umbrella of Research Experiences (CURE) program addresses the pressing need for a diverse cancer research community that reflects the nation’s heterogeneity. CURE is funded by the National Cancer Institute.
