Kassandra is a first-generation college graduate who earned her BS in Human Development and BA in Psychology at UC Davis - Go Ags! She also obtained her MS in Counseling with a concentration in Student Affairs and College Counseling at Fresno State. Prior to joining the BASC team, Kassandra worked exclusively with transfer students at the UC Berkeley Transfer Student Center. There, she supported transfer students' transition into the university and helped them navigate its resources through holistic counseling, transition course facilitation, and coordinating events that fostered community and belonging. In addition to being a strong advocate for transfer students, Kassandra also has a background in providing college advising to first-generation high school students and supporting undergraduates through academic difficulty. Throughout her work with students of various diverse backgrounds and identities, her favorite quote has become the ancient proverb, “If you want to go fast go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” Kassandra loves working with undergraduate students and feels honored to be able to support you in achieving your academic, career, and personal goals at UC Davis!
