    All CBS majors have the same preparatory coursework for the first two years at UC Davis, so no matter what you choose to study, you’ll be with other CBS students!

  • You'll earn a dynamic degree

    Many of our majors can be a B.A. or B.S., offering flexibility to explore non-STEM topics. They also provide a solid foundation for graduate study or careers in education or biotechnology.

  • Thinking about a health profession?

    You don’t need a “pre-health” major to pursue a health profession. Many programs value diverse academic backgrounds, so choose a major you’re passionate about!
